Little boy Looking outside
My paintings are usualy less than 12 by 16, then I frame them to 16 by 20..But every now and then I do larger scale ones, and those are the better! Unfortunately, I haven't showed them or framed them, because the bigger they are, the more expensive the frame is! This is 20 by 28 inches! It's taking some time, especially because of the details on the boy's shirt.. But I like it so far! There is something mysterious about it...Art is not just an imitation of reality! Goldmund says that the better artist is the one who captures the mystery and the mood of a painting, and make other people wonder. And that's who I strive to be!!

Olive Oil and Dish
The Blonde Hair
I was cleaning a small olive dish, my Ex-Ex-Ex-girlfriend Kirsten got me from France, and I found a blonde hair! It was in the little jar where you throw the seeds! In a flash I remembered when she gave it to me, how I was really excited to have it..But, also I wondered who that hair belonged to?!! Was it Kirsten's, Carol's, or Jenn's..I couldn't really tell! It was amazing how this little hair threw me in a world of memories: some passionate ones full with happiness and excitement; and some stormy with arguments and insecurities! I don't regret any of those memories. They are part of me, and they helped shape the man I am! And as I look into the future, I will always treasure every one of them, and look forward to making new ones!!

My first Maine Accident
I got back from Cinci yesterday..On the way back, I drove through this horrible snow storm..It kept snowing heavily for about 3 hours..After I got off the airline to 192, I thought to myself, "Wow, I survived!" I guess I jinxed myself because a few minutes later, my car started heading to the side, I knew if I hit the break it was going to flip, so I turned it the other way..In a split second, I thought that I had it under control. Then I lost it..It started going right and left, and I still didn't hit the breaks. Then I chose my crashing site, I was lucky that there were no valley or bridge!! I crashed into a ditch and some rocks and trees!! I said a little prayer just in case I had to die.. All this happened in a second or two!!! Then, after the silence came, I looked around, and everything was fine! And I thought," Wo, cool!!!" Then, I thought, this is a Jeep, I could probably make my way out, but I was over confident, the wheels kept on spinning to no avail! Then heaven sent me a woman in a car, and a guy in a truck..The woman provided the rope, and the guy pulled me out of the ditch..I was very grateful, but I didn't get their names! Any ways, I finally made it home. I thanked God I didn't flip over, or got hurt, and that there are still good people out there!!
