These are portraits in watercolor. I am trying not to limit myself to lines and edges. I wonder if I'm doing a good job or not. It's just having fun with colors.

Pastel

I have been passing through a dull period as far as painting. I am trying to experiment and practice, but that doesn't give me the satisfaction of a good watercolor painting. This is a pastel experiment from a memory image of the Machias river.

This is actually a very small piece. Only 6X8 inches. But I wanted to express the autumn colors, and I think it looks nice.

This is from a picture I took when I went to Istanbul. I hope I didn't make it too busy!
