Rabee,

I wanted to leave a note complimenting you on your art. Carol told me about you earlier in the year and I always wondered what your work looked like and she said she'd point me toward the web site sometime. I have to say that not many watercolor paintings caught my eye in the past, but I really like your work. I think your passion for painting comes across in much of your work. The first picture that caught me was the homes built into the side of the cliff/mountain. I love your use of color and some of the more vibrant, recent ones really hold my interest. The ones with architectural themes and lots of detail are favorites of mine as well. Most of all. I think I really like the subtle transition of shading & hues in your paintings. And when you use hard transitions such as the robes of the women (or persons) talking in Mid-Eastern clothing, (yellow-red) it really stands out as dramatic against your more subtle style of painting in other parts of a piece. I think it's a very eye catching contrast. There are very few works that I don't like. The first time I came to the web site, I tried to figure out which were early works of yours and which were more recent. I thought I could see your progression but I had no way of knowing for sure when something was painted. Anyway, I really like your work. I don't know how competitive it is in your circles, but it seems as if it's only a matter of time before you're well known and recognized. But even if that were to never come to pass, just know that your work is inspiring, beautiful and thought provoking... no matter how well known or not it might become in the future. I wish you the best in all that you do. On a personal note, in reference to your posts regarding being single, few people want to be alone if they have a passion for anything in life. There's love and happiness "out there" for anyone that's willing to try. Just be yourself, project a beauty that comes only from deep within & never forget to let your loved ones know how much they mean to you. Cherish each day because we never know when the last one will be. Please don't be sad over past events because we have no control over them. Dedicate your thoughts and energies to making today and tomorrow just what you want it to be. Best wishes, Mike.
