These are 2 quick paintings 14X11. Each probably took about 30min to an hour. I am not sure if I would call them paintings or studies.

I love the one done of the field and barn. There is a soft haziness to the entire painting that could be mistaken for the characteristic of watercolors but the dark side of the barn gives a very definite idea of snow. Beautiful details, this painting makes me feel thoughtful.
Is that a fishing buoy is the foreground? It is that clever little detail that pulls the eye down to explore the entire painting. :)
